This page explains, in plain language, what information Restaurant Option collects when you visit and how it is used.
What we do not collect
We do not run advertising on this site. We do not use analytics services or tracking cookies. Comments are closed on all articles, so there are no comment forms, and we do not run a newsletter or mailing list.
Server logs
Like almost every website, our web server keeps standard access logs. These record your IP address, your browser type, the pages you request and the time of each request. We use these logs only for security and troubleshooting, such as spotting attacks or fixing errors, and we do not use them to build profiles of visitors.
Cookies
The site does not set cookies for ordinary visitors. WordPress, the software that runs the site, may set a cookie for administrators who log in to manage it. That cookie is needed for the login to work and is not used for tracking.
If you email us at Advertising@RestaurantOption.com, we use your email address and message only to reply to you. We do not add you to any list or share your details for marketing.
Links to other websites
Our articles link to other websites, such as government and public health pages. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which we do not control.
Your questions and requests
If you have a question about this policy, or you would like us to tell you what information we hold about you or to delete an email you sent us, write to Advertising@RestaurantOption.com and we will respond.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the site handles information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
